Where do you provide your services?
We are located in Bend, Oregon, and only serving Deschutes County at this time. We're hopeful that in the coming years we will be able to open more 24-hour Residential Sites so we can provide attendant care services to more people who need it.
How much do your services cost?
There is no cost for our in-home care services other than room and board which varies year-to-year. In 2023 the room and board fee is $711.
How do I start receiving services?
Touch base with your service coordinator and tell them that you're interested in living in a BFF Home.
How old do you have to be to live in a BFF Home?
We provide 24-hour Residential services only to adults over the age of 18.
I want to apply for a job. What requirements are there?
In order to work for Bend Family Friends as a Direct Support Professional, you must be 18 years old, be able to pass a background check, get CPR and First Aid certified, and have a good attitude. We can train you on everything else. Above all, this job requires you to have empathy and respect for everyone we serve. How much does a DSP make per hour?
Starting wage for a Direct Support Professional at BFF is $20-$22 an hour depending on experience. That being said, there are lots of opportunities for growth and promotion within BFF!
